Millet Expedition Project is located in France (Annecy) and supports expeditions with equipment and sponsoring money. Mountaineers were asked to apply for funding with their expedition ideas and projects until March 2008. Overall, Millet had received about 80 applications, of which 25 teams were invited to present their projects in Chamonix.

Our team managed to obtain the extraordinary second rank in the „performance“ category and consequently got a sponsoring agreement with Millet Expedition Project.

Moreover, this meeting was ideal to learn about other creative expedition projects and it facilitated the exchange with interesting mountaineers from various nations.

Clara and Markus only spent a weekend in Chamonix, but they still managed to do a quick mountain trip up Aiguille des Pélerins. The conditions at 3000m offered nice training: Breaking the path in deep snow with a frozen cover and climbing mixt routes (rock, ice, snow).
